When I went abroad, I was there for five months. I was told to bring just enough to be used for two weeks, because I had a chance to do laundry when I needed. If you are going to a few weeks or months, lightweight packaging is certainly important. It is very likely to find at least a couple of things you might want to buy when you travel and need a place to put it, when you want to go back! When I went to Sweden, I just packed a suitcase of clothes and left second bag completely empty, and check it out on my flight. This was useful when it’s time to go home, because I had more space. This strategy is not very helpful when it comes to hiking because you do not want to pull the most comprehensive event in Europe in order to have something to put in items that you just bought, however, you can start to pack lightly to to have to buy more space along the path. You could also put a shopping and souvenirs to buy beyond the end and maybe to buy another bag at the end of the trip. Most international airlines, you can control up to two bags.
When deciding what to bring for your backpacking trip to try to think of comfort is important, while the dress code in certain places. Most of the time, you do not see Europeans walking sweatpants and sweatshirts with gymnastics. I know this is probably the most comfortable and appealing to residents to sit for long periods of time during the trip, but it is not always appropriate. If you plan to travel in summer, just bring a pair of jeans or long pants should be enough. You may also want to hide or cardigan of some sort for days and cool nights. If you plan to go to bars and clubs abroad, you only need two of these dresses, because you have different cities, and it is good to repeat grades (I know it can be difficult for some of you people out there get the hang of fashion !) In addition to this, we try to pack to distinguish. T-shirts and shorts or skirts that can be combined several days are great. Flowy shirts that are lightweight and are great because if you sweat, it is less likely to remain a shirt. Shoes are always the hardest to bear. Since you are going to do a lot of walking, wear a pair that is lightweight and extremely comfortable, but also a little funky, so do not adhere to it. I would recommend Pumas Toms or because they are so light and support your feet for longer stays.
